What can I spray through the P100?
Curing compounds, concrete sealers, form oils, stains, dyes, densifiers, evaporation retarders. Basically anything you are currently spraying from an old fashioned pump up canister type sprayer can be sprayed with the P100. What should not be sprayed through the P100?
Acetone, zylene, laquers or laquer thinners. These materials will destroy the sprayers internal parts in just a few minutes of operation! What power source should I use?
Any DeWalt XR style 12 - 18v battery. What is the maximum hose length?
The P100 has been tested and approved for hose lengths up to 100 Ft. Will the P100 spray 30% solids material?
Yes. However, there are some considerations to make when spraying thicker material - tip size, % of solids, material type, material viscosity and temperature. The viscosity of 30% solids material varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. It is important to match your tip size and type with your material. A 1.0 GPM fan tip is recommended for 25 - 30% solids. An adjustable cone tip works better for thinner liquids. Whether the material is water based or solvent based may also affect the viscosity, as well as the material's temperature. Our tests have shown that 30% solids can be satisfactorily sprayed through the sprayer. However, you need to take into account the aforementioned conditions, and may have to make adjustments to your sprayer set up to satisfactorily spray 30% solids material. Will the P100 spray acids?
The standard P100 will not handle acids. A modified unit with a chemical resistant wand and 100Ft. hose to get the sprayer away from the work area can be ordered from SMK that will work with acids. Is there an SMK distributor in my area?
